Seattle, WA   Apple may have over 80,000 apps for its iPhone but one it no longer has is the TAZER app. Designed to make your iPhone screen look like a real Tazer at the push of button and give its users piece of mind during an assault, it turned out to be a dismal failure.

Four testers were asked to go out into high crime neighborhoods and start counting the money in their wallets - out in the open.  After doing so, each tester was immediately approached by a suspicious individual who demanded all their money. The tester then activated the Tazer app and pointed the iPhone at the would-be robber. The results were less than positive. One tester was shot, two were stabbed, and one soiled himself when the assailant pulled out a machete.
