Washington, DC,   The Healthcare Reform bill currently in the Senate will face dozens of amendments but the one that will really be an eye-opener is the one sponsored by Sen Al Franken (D-MN). The amendment called ‘Fix My Cable bill Too’, calls for caps on monthly payments for cable service – payments that have sky-rocketed over the past decade.

According to Franken, he has enough votes to get the amendment passed on the first vote. ‘This was easy’, he claimed. ‘ None of us really care about Health Insurance premiums because we get free healthcare as a member of Congress. But Cable – we have to pay for that out of our own pockets.’
